The Carthage Church of Christ desires to reach out and spread the Gospel in Carthage and Moore County, North Carolina. Randy Chambers, a graduate of Memphis School of Preaching, is the preacher. He and his family began this work after much prayer and open doors of opportunity. The first worship service was held on October 17, 2004.

Cary Church of Christ in nearby Cary, NC supports this work.

This is a sincere invitation to you, our friend and neighbor to come and participate in our services here at the Church of Christ.

We are a group of Christians seeking always to exactly duplicate the church founded by Christ - the church that is described in the New Testament.

We have no man-made creed and we accept only the teaching of the Bible in matters of religion. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God which is authoritative and complete.

Our purpose is to be a congregation of Christians, sound in the teaching of the Gospel, upright in character, sacrificial in spirit, and friendly in nature.
